Group of companies Logoline provides wholesale supplies of wood fuel pellets for household use to countries of the European Community. The main otherness of wood fuel pellets for household use from industrial is small ash content, and, as general, smaller diameter of a pellet; in the industrial assets can be used pellets with diameter 8mm, a pellet for household use has diameter 6 mm.
Group of companies Logoline provides wholesale supplies of industrial fuel pellets to countries of the European Community. The main otherness of industrial fuel pellets from wood fuel pellets for household use is higher ash content, bigger diameter of the pellet and, correspondingly, the lower price. Waste products of pine and hard woods, of the sunflower or wheat sticks can be used for production of industrial pellets.

Advantages and types of fuel briquettes

Advantages and types of fuel briquettes
It is general practice, wood briquettes are prodused from the waste of woodwork and timber industry. Bonding additives and glues are not used in briquette’s production. Bricketing is arised by effect of natural material, which is called lignin and is contained in wood substance. The process of bricketing is conluded in pressing of pre-staged wood substance under an elevated temperature

Advantages of an application of fuel briquettes:
- High heating effect: briquettes are produced of pre-staged wood substance and contain by several times less of wet than simple firewoods. Wet content in fuels leads to massive reduction of calorific value of a combustible and effectiveness of heating system. Briquettes are deprived of this drawback;
- Convenience of storage: density of briquette is higher than density of wood, briquettes have specified geometrical dimensions, that is why they need less of place in the setting of storage and transportation;
- Low ash content: during the combustion process of briquettes appear just trace amount of ash, this reduces the frequency of servicing of heating equipment;
- Briquettes don’t crack during the combustion process and outburn. Trace amount of ash exhale during the combustion process;
- Briquettes are ecologically-clean type of fuel, fewer of carbonic-acid gas is appeared during the combustion process of briquettes, than during, for example, coal combustion, or burning of oil-products

The main types of wood-briquettes are briquettes Nestro, RUF and Pini-Kay

Wood-briquettes Nestro – are bowl shaped briquettes with hole, or without it, which are produced on hydraulic or impact mechanical presses under a pressure of 400−600 bar by the way of mechanical compaction of wood shavings

Wood-briquettes RUF – are squared shape briquettes with dimensions 65 õ 95 õ 150 mm. RUF – it is name, which comes from the name of German company, which produced hydraulic presses. Crushed wood – wood shavings and chips are used in producing of these briquettes

Wood-briquettes Pini-kày – are briquettes, which name comes from Austrian company company-producer of briquette presses, which doesn't exist now. These briquettes have the form of quadrangles, sexangles, or octangles with the hole in the middle, they are covered by dark crust from outside, which comes out of surface combustion. Wood-briquettes Pini-kày are carved to size-defined pieces, typically 25-30 sm, with the aid of trimming saw
